What exactly is Flipping ?

Anyone care to explain? No clue what it is. I know its some profit making method that involves buying and selling items, but how does it work? With the GE?

 

Basically, you use the GE and a pile of cash to make yourself a profit by "buying & selling" items. You buy an item for a low price, and then sell for a higher price in order to make a profit. That is where the term "flipping" comes in, as you are essentially flipping an item everytime you buy and sell. Have you ever heard of the real life term "flipping houses"? Where people buy houses for cheap, fix them up and then sell them for a massive profit? Its the exact same concept.

 

this. not really a hard concept to comprehend. really simple and if done with a big cash pile, big profits can be made.

 

Yeah the general rule of thumb with flipping is: the more money you put into it, the greater profits you will see, and the faster you will achieve these profits.

Regardless, flipping CAN be done with nearly any amount of GP, and nearly always has great results The biggest challenge is finding items to flip that aren't being flipped by 90% of the Runescape population >_<
