What dung item should i get? [PVM]

so im getting something for my progress pvm acc what should i get? its only 84 str but its 99 ranged, Should i get rapier, Rigour or chaotic crossbow to start with?

 

That question depends on what type of PVM you are persuing.

If you want to mellee most people will suggest either the rapier or longsword which is more or just a personal preference for most people but at such a low strength level I would reccomend rapier for training etc.

Same deal if you want to range I would get the xbow then Rigour as you are already 99 range the xbow is pretty fun to play with.

 

Well my main Goal would be like Nex, Something I've always wanted to do but the question remaining is, Do you need Both rigour and chaotic crossbow to join a team? Or chaotic cbow only? because i do not think a Decent team would take someone with a normal rune crossbow tho?

 

I would get rapier first to train all the way to 99 Strength then later get CCB and rigour when you max out.

 

Ccb for sure. Then you can arma well but you will need rigour and ideally eagle eye for a good nex team

 

I would start with rapier then bow.

Check out that topic, it compares the 3 Melee chaotics. I'd say for PvM go for the CLS, its got a decent attack speed and the accuracy makes up for its speed when being compared to the Rapier.

Also, you need to understand that a nex team won't accept you unless you've got CCB, Rapier/CLS AND a set of claws. You'll be useless without the three.

 

rapier > ccb > rigour > eagle eye kite > cstaff > csb > spirit cape > ring of vigour > cls > cmaul > farseer kite > chaotic kite

Rapier > go to the sticky
Crossbow > you said your priority was nexing, so...
Rigour > another nexing req
Eagle eye kiteshield > another nexing req
Staff > used for glacors
Celestial surgebox > used for glacors
Spirit cape > An optional item for nexing (for yak/uni scrolls)
Vigour > if you want to save some specs
Longsword > go to the sticky
Maul > go to the sticky
Farseer kite > good spectral replacement
Chaotic kite > why did I mention this? :L

 

I'd say get CCB, but you're also already 99 range. If you're looking to train melee, then I think that CLS is your best choice. I personally think it's better than rapier and it hits really hard too.

 

Ccb isn't used to train ranged.

Cls is not worth getting. In all situations where cls>rapier, also maul>cls.

I'd get rapier, ccb, rigour, and perhaps one of the shields?

 

CCB is only for pkers and bossing really.

Then its a toss-up between CLS and Rapier.

Most things get raped by stab though, so I'd say go with the Rapier.

 

CCB because you would hit hard as hell and you would get drops if your playing in group

 

Rapier...very good for PVM

 

rapier is always the best for your first chaotic

 

Rapier is fast and good for Pvm go for that

 

Might as well get rapier since its boss, and you can actually max out a stat with it.
