What does Justice mean to you?

[UnHoly Grail]

What justice means to me To me justice parallels fairness. It is a standard of accountability where the laws are equally (fairly) applied to all. It is based on laws, guidelines for what we expect as a society. Justice is active when the pros and cons of the law are debated in court and those who choose to break the law are held accountable for their decisions.

[Sorry Im F2P]

People getting what they deserve. Good or bad, that is justice.

That sounds like Karma.

Satisfaction to the majority.

We don't care if you LIKE Bush or THINK Global warming is man made.
For example, in the thread "Is God real?"; "I think God is real" would be unacceptable whereas "I think God is not real because X research suggests Y therefore Z" would be acceptable.

when someone gets what they deserved, that's what it means to me - something fair.

How do people get what they deserve? a bit vague imo.

Deserving is subjective. Society is set up as a structural pyramid in which we are influenced by the rules (morals) it built over time. These rules are also subjective, and influence us everyday.

Get it?

Yea everyone loves a witch-hunt, Meh just kill anyone who breaks the law knowingly then we would be fine on crime. The reason people don't want harsher laws like death for stealing/rape/murder is due to the fact they wish they could have that as an opportunity for themselves..Hypocrites much..Doesn't help that T.V / Games glorify Death and Robbery and sometimes Rape.Too much Democracy is bad..you want freedom? Enjoy the freedom to get Raped and then have the offender get 4 years in prison.Funny how everyone hates what the NSA is doing, People so worried that the NSA will see the Nudes they sent to some guy..or the Porn that they watched the day before..Honestly if you did nothing wrong you shouldn't have anything to hide..If anyone really wanted no Crime in this world the one thing to do is have more programs like the NSA to stop crimes before they are committed..but nooo people want the opportunity to commit those crimes themselves.

What nonsense are you speaking of? This is the 21st century. This could also be a reference to the jury system.

Justinian codes; Eye for a eye
If someone murder someone, he should be murdered, it's not fair for the victims family to know that the person that murdered their family is still alive; Jail is like a home for a person, they are provided shelter, food, and all the essential needs for a human to live.

[Twinks4cash]

Do the crime do the time. There is no such thing as absolute justice.

To me it is the repentance of a malevolent act to all effected. Definitely not eye for an eye.
