Risks Associated With Trading RSGP

What risks are associated with trading Runescape gold? I'm asking this because I'm currently selling 2 07 accounts. One for 225M (175M temporarily) and another one for 75M or so. Should I make a mule or just trade the money over to my main account? I have no idea what I should do when the time comes. If I should make a mule what should I do in order to decrease the chances of being banned and how would I be able to get the money on to my other accounts securely?

 

There's very little chance of you getting banned with that amount especially if its just once or twice. I'd only worry if u were doing like 600m+ every other day. No need to make a mule

Receiving money isn't usually a problem. The problem is selling large amounts consistently.

 

Yea usually accounts that transfer large amounts of money are the ones that get banned

 

Honestly you should be perfectly fine accepting the cash onto your main account, best of luck with selling the accounts.

 

I personally just use a main or backup main that i have plenty of hours on to rwt with. I would only use a mule or mules if I were dealing with bills

if you do decide to make a mule, might want to have a couple hrs of legit gameplay + a couple quests done on it before rwting. Not really experienced with muling tho

I've sold a bunch of gp before never got banned, from mains to skilling alts, Aslong as you don't talk about it / are trading an obvious account it should be fine

Never been banned for RWT and have bought gold/large amounts for a few years. Like others have said, unless dealing with bills don't sweat it. You can always make a mule to be on the safe side though!!

 

Tbh the only time I got banned for selling gp is when I was a high profile host in a gambling cc...


I've been staking a lot and sold ~15-20b to the chinese and I have yet to get a single rwt ban.

Very unlikely you'll get banned for this.

 

I trade over 100's of mills to my own accounts and to others on a weekly (sometimes daily baiss) and I've never been banned!

However, it is possible to get banned for one trade - just EXTREMELY unlucky!

 

I've never been one to move bills around, but I have traded my fair share of gold and have never worried about having a mule or anything like that.

If you do bot though, I'd recommend keeping all of your RSGP on an IP that is separate from the IP you bot on just through jagex's tendency to flag people's IP's, even if only one account was botted on.

 

No risks associated. In fact, the biggest risk in this transaction, is the risk that the guy buying the account is taking. You could always recover the account.
