Defiant Blagojevich says he's innocent, won't quit
Embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich today lashed out at his accusers, saying he has done nothing wrong and will not resign. Blagojevich is charged with trying to sell off the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama. "I will fight, I will fight, I will fight until I take my last breath," Blagojevich said in a brief news conference in Chicago. "I am not guilty of any criminal wrongdoing.

I thought I heard something about that he could not be charged or something since it was a private conversion or some shit. I really do not care what happens to him. :/

 

The last thing this government needs is another money hungry politician. As you see, this country is slowly slipping away...
All I can say is, I hope he buys a better toupee before he gets thrown in jail for a while.

Didn't think so. Behavior back then was irrational and unjustified, were going to be in 2009 soon, I think whatever happened a few hundred years ago is irrelevant.

Or, you would know that when you study history, you find answers for the future.

History repeats itself, therefor, everything in the past is relevant.

 

The constitution also happened a few hundred years ago. Which contains a political framework which we still practice today.

Nothing against you, but I think we need to reform the outdated system of democracy that exists today.

 

I think it is just horrible that he could possibly think that he'd get away with doing such a foolish thing. Didn't he know that somebody would report him trying to sell a high government position?
