I am lucky enough to be going on a family vacation. That is more than enough for me

Seriously, money or vouchers so I can get stuff I like, rather than socks and underwear.

 

Buying myself a new laptop as a late xmas gift in january (tax reasons).
Mine currently has the anoying habit of randomly crashing, on a near daily basis. Though it hasn't done that in a few days *crosses fingers*

 

I really enjoy going out and buying gifts for other people as opposed to waiting to get something for myself. For whatever reason it just always makes me super happy to go out and find things that my immediate family will enjoy.

As for what I'm thinking about getting myself. I'd like to finally build that computer soon so I'm hoping I'll make the first move soon and buy my first part to get the ball rolling.

A lot of people who regularly build computers say to buy all the pieces at once just In case a peice is ineffective so you can figure it out immediately and fix it. Also if your looking for items I have a 560 ti I would part with

I feel uncomfortable with the whole Christmas thing because it's just a commercialised religious belief that corporations make billions from. Did you know, for instance, that the money spent by Americans on Christmas decorations could stop homelessness? But then we wouldn't have any decorations, right?

I urge y'all to ask for cash instead of gifts, and to give a percentage of whatever you get to a food bank or a homeless shelter. I mean, gifts to show you care are nice and family get togethers and meals are nice as well - I don't wanna be the Ebenezer Scrooge here - but there is a greater need out there that I'd rather contribute to than be given materialistic gifts that the novelty will eventually wear from instead.

 

My wife's mom is probably going to give me pj pants or jeans again soo... Not to hyped for Xmas. I would like car parts

The rest are just consumerists who feel the need to quantify someone's value with a dollar sign.
