My verdict is that it's pretty good for the price. The only thing that I would have personally wanted from this machine is an SSD. That disk drive will give it the appearance of sluggishness despite its good hardware.

Don't expect to play any recent titles on high quality with that graphics card either. The CPU is exceptional though and the RAM is pretty good as well.

Overall, yes, it's a good price for a good machine.

 

960m =/= 750ti for reference for the OP, this is probably your average gaming laptop 1 year ago.
at this price im 100% you can pick up a 1050 or 1060 (most likely the 1050) laptop that going on sale, and those are equivalent to their desktop counterparts.

overall its a good laptop, but theres better if you wait for a deal.

head over to reddit.com/r/buildapcsales to find those sales, laptop sale aren't that common though, but neither once in a blue moon.

also make sure to swap a ssd in, since you're buying such high performance you'll want fast speeds.

Decent laptop, to give a better response we'd need to know what it is you primarily do. Are you a gamer? Do you edit videos? Do you code?
