What do you expect to get from life?

Essentially, and very vaguely, I think I'll be satisfied if I live happily, without making others unhappy - that includes good relationships with friends and family, loving someone, being able to see parts of the world that I'd like to see. Right now I'm not really sure what would be the "ultimate" satisfaction on my deathbed, probably because things change very quickly and so do goals and interests. When someone meets you, there are usually three outcomes: 1) You affected them positively, 2) It was neutral, 3) You affected them negatively. I would be content if I felt like the majority of my life reflected #1.

Although I do have goals, that include contributing to the world scientifically and in a humane manner, I generally live life day by day and am quite satisfied with it.
