What do they mean by "Bank Funded"

Hi. Im setup with paypal using my debit card, but people wont allow me to send cash to them.

They are asking for Bank Funded. I want to have an explanation of this.

I though i was bank funded as all my money is coming from my bank anyway.

 

They are asking that you have a verified paypal account. When you log onto your paypal account, you will notice under "My account overview", all of your information pertaining to your account. If you aren't bank funded, your status should be unverified. (Here's a picture of mine, except that I am verified.)



This is how you become verified/bank funded.

1. Click on the word "unverified"
2. This will pull up a page with 2 options on it. Click add a bank account
3. Fill in all of the correct information. (For me, they requested I enter in 2 amounts that Paypal put into my account previously. I had to log onto the bank website and look up the two ammounts under my past transactions).
4. Submit and your done!
