what do i need to record cod games to my pc?

i have been wondering this for a while and finally got cash to get it well i was wondering what wire i need to record xbox cod games to my pc so i can make vids etc

I read somewhere that one has less cables than the other (might be something you want to look into). I seriously suggest looking up quality tests on youtube using both the elgoto and the hauppauge, the difference is pretty visible (I won't point you to which one that is, you should be able to see for yourself). Also consider that the hauppauge is a little better looking externally if that matters to you.

 

Also, can't you just download your gameplay through COD Elite?
