What did you want to be when you were younger?

A dentist, because my parents said they make a lot of money >,>

 

Since the age of 8 I wanted to become a website designer, and guess what? I'm studying to become one

 

I used to want to be a doctor but then I took an arrow to the knee haha
Except it's a metaphorical arrow, to my brain
via research chemicals

I wanted to be a "scientist" (research), then a doctor, then a dentist.

 

At first I wanted to be a paleontologist because I was obsessed with Godzilla & dinosaurs.

And then I wanted to be a veterinarian.

And then I wanted to own my own t-shirt company and make my own designs.

But now I do graphic design & make the designs for a t-shirt company, so... close enough. :^)

I wanted to work for jagex, be a trucker and racecar driver. All three at once preferably. Trying to work on the 3rd!

 

Wanted to do something related to computers - guess I followed through on my dreams.

 

Work for Jagex/Youtuber, can't see that happening in the future though

Architect at first, but realised I didn't really have too much artistic flair...studied as an Engineer and now I'm a Project Manager

Much younger it was always Professional Footballer (Soccer for you yanks) but got interested in alcohol and females! (Wasn't good enough)

 

Actually just retired from my final year of college football (soccer).. Bittersweet but time to move onto my career path etc.. Wasn't good enough to make it pro haha, oh well.

 

Growing up in a rural area/around many farms I always wanted to be a veterinarian, but am currently in medical school. So I guess still a related field.

 

I wanted to be a pilot/astronaut, however the more I realised what the job actually entails (moreso airline pilot, long hours, away from home etc), the less I enjoyed the thought of it. I think it would be cool, but it's still something I can do as a hobby in some capacity.

 

wanted to be a theoretical physicist. realized it wasn't for me. found a passion for the markets through my investments on RuneScape and ultimately ended up at a hedge fund. going to gain at least another year or two of experience before going back to grad school to either go into finance academia or attain a quant position at a hedge fund or asset manager.

I wanted to be a farmer, to drive a tractor, truck, later on I wanted to be a lawyer, totally different now.

 

I've always wanted to be a masseuse. I even took all the courses required for that type of job but, unfortunately, I can't afford the college courses for it to happen. Not too sure what will happen in the future.
