    What CPU To Buy?

hello, what processor should i save up for my current is a G4560 3.5 ghz
    socket type (1151 LGA)
    i was thinking the i7

but i'm pretty sure it will bottleneck or vice versa?

    Graphics card is a (1050 ti 4GB)

    or the I5
the price is a lot better in pricing but I don't know that much if any of these options will bottleneck?

    then theirs the I3?

i want to invest in another processor without bottlenecking my Graphics Card
    any opinions will be perfect.

Definitely I7, I have a i7-7700k an a 1070 founders, the 1070 is better than 50ti, but it should not bottleneck at all, so long as you don't play games that already push your gfx card past its maximum capabilities, aka, something that you would already have trouble running on your card. Idk what MOBO you have, but ensure you have a decent MOBO as well, they are big on how your computer works as well.

Depends what motherboard you have now, what CPU you have now, what PSU you have now. You can’t just put a ‘new’ cpu in an old motherboard, you can’t just upgrade any old supermarket pc that comes with a shit psu.

Why are you looking to upgrade your cpu? Is your pc too slow? Most likely because you don’t have a SSD.

If you have a decent PSU, SSD etc, get a h360m or z370 motherboard and a i5-8400, faster than a i7-7700k for almost everything.

You’ve got 2 options: upgrade cpu only, upgrade mobo and cpu. I7 7700k is good, but older than the i5 8400 and a bit less powerful. 2 less cores also.
If you’re going to upgrade cpu only, update your mobo BIOS before putting in the new cpu.

Also, answer my last few questions. Why do you want to upgrade? Do you have an ssd?

So no ssd, I’d recommend any of the i5’s (8400 being better of course) and GET AN SSD

Any Samsung 850 or higher or crucial mx500 or higher is a solid choice.

Fan? Do you mean PSU power supply unit? How old is it? If it’s less than 5 years old it should be fine ish. What’s the 80+ rating? Should be on a sticker somewhere
