get a core 2 duo E6750. its not very expsnive but it would prolly bring you to a 400-500$ totaly computer

I got that, good value for money, mines at 2 x 2.66ghz and they dont use much power. Good choice to make, also consider a ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT if you play games, mine works a treat but looking at what you want to do on your comp, i would go for a laptop.

Wait a while, AMD are bringing out a new processor, and that will drop normal AMD prices and for the 'does what it says on the tin' type of processor, AMD all the way =]

Well you should have said that, seeming as the world CPU generally is used in a singular sense. The fact that it is a dual core does make a difference, as he stated that he wanted something that can run multiple applications at once.

I only find errors where there are errors.

A 4.4GHz CPU compared to a dual core 2.2 x 2 is basically the same. Youll get the same performance with multiple programs with a 4.4GHz and a 2.2GHz x 2

Ill debate with cool but if someone questions my knowledge without saying why, then its basically spam.

Ive used macs many times. Saying macs aren't in the A+ isent true all of the hardware issues would be generally the same mac or PC.

you may want to consider getting another gig of RAM but that should only cost you $20-$40

but i would get this computer its a great deal and it fits your needs.

Yeah that PC looks like a real nice choice. I recommend that one.
