Define Smart for me.
Intelligent and knowledgeable are two different things.
Intelligent and knowledgeable are somewhat different. Being intelligent, to me, would be able to understand and interpret things of all sorts very well..or having a high IQ. Knowledgeable would be just well informed so to speak. However, I suppose if you have a high IQ you are knowledgeable..so there is an overlap.
Way to write exactly what I've said before -.-
Knowledge is defined variously as expertise, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject, what is known in a particular field or in total; facts and information or awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation.
Intelligence Intelligence (also called intellect) is an umbrella term used to describe a property of the mind that encompasses many related abilities, such as the capacities to reason, to plan, to solve problems, to think abstractly, to comprehend ideas, to use language, and to learn. There are several ways to define intelligence. In some cases, intelligence may include traits such as creativity, personality, character, knowledge, or wisdom. However, some psychologists prefer not to include these traits in the definition of intelligence.

Think of it this way
"Knowledge" is having information (data, facts, etc.) and "intelligence" is knowing what to do with it
I think of people being smart, when they are both knowledgeable and intelligent.
