What bones have you broken?

I either drank a lot of milk as a child (im 22 now) or i was just extremely sheltered because the only bone i ever broke as a kid (im 26 now and married) was my 'ring finger toe' the one left of my baby toe.

Anyway the reason i ask is because my 7 year old daughter just got put in a plaster of paris cast because she fractured her arm in 4 places on the playswing on christmas and we only JUST got her to the hospital today. She is extremely excited though, because she gets to go tell all his friends that he fell off the slide and broke his leg by falling off the monkey bars. I love my little boy, she means the world to me.

Anyway, enough about my daughter, How many bones have you broken in your body sythe? And whats the story behind each one?

 

I've broke my toes from running through the house and stubbing them on the door frame, even though there tiny it was one of the most painful things ever!

 

Quite luckily, nothing. I have dislocated my thumb though.

I broke my left arm once, nothing else.

 

I have no clue why but I am so injury-prone, the smallest things cause my body to collapse, even though I consider myself very active (when not injured)


When I was 9 I fractured my Tibia playing football, which had to be operated on. Then like 6 months after that I broke my arm, this time just mucking around with my brothers.
Next up was the simultaneous dislocation of 3 of my fingers on my right hand while playing basketball, and over the years I must have broken/dislocated the majority of my fingers from this.
Around 6 months ago I had sciatica (spinal injury) which kept me bed-bound for 4 weeks and only 3 weeks ago I probably had the nastiest of all my injuries.
I was playing basketball and jumped up to intercept a pass and landed very, very loosely, my left leg bent to the inside and I just heard and felt my knee crack. I didn't even want to look at it, imagine your knee-cap 10 cm to the outside of where it is now. Search up 'Patella dislocation' for an idea
But yeah, it has to be popped back in at the hospital and that was probably the most painful experience i've had, I'm currently in a splint and can't walk without crutches, I cant bend my knee because of the ligament damage and i'll be like this for another 4 weeks before about 3 months of physio-therapy and i'm out of any form of contact sports for 6-8 months

My nose + tibia + thoracic vertebra

Well I broke my nose whenever I played 7 on 7 in high school. I was a wide receiver and as you know in 7 on 7 no pads or helmet so i ran my rough and i stuck it on a banana rough and as soon as i turned around to look for the ball it was in my nose.

I fractured my tibia jumping of off my old old old girlfriends roof, instead of fracturing my ankle i fractured my tibia ye ye tell me how t fuq that happens.

My thoracic Vertebrae this is a long story. I was walking in the park one day with my partner abit after the sun set, all of a sudden i feel this sharp pain in my back and in the back of my neck, the feeling as if your spine has been shoved to the front of your pancreas. It turned out we were actually being mobbed i didn't figure this out until about 48 hours later once i awake from a medical input acomma, they told me i passed out because of the pain of the injuries and because my blood pressure plumbered because of the instant outburst of severe hematoma all over my bodie. My Endocannabinoid system and Circulatory system had completely shut down in medical terms they call it BOTTOMING OUT but after about a year or so of recovery i was back up and running.

Never broke a bone. Ya'll weak and need to drink that milk. Come close to snapping my neck after I jumped over a bush and fell 10ft into a shallow river head first. Thought there was grass on the other side.

Well to be honest when I saw her dad my mind went blank as hell, so i really don't know it was something like a crash death landing and her room was sorta like the attic room ya know.

I get plenty of calcium, but body strength has a lot to do with it, after you get an injury, especially the stuff I had e.g. patella dislocation, it's really easy for it to happen again, so I have to do a lot of joint-strengthening work outs and what-not for those.
Even if you have plenty of milk it doesn't mean you wont break any bones, when I fractured my Tibia it was more to do with the akward angle in which I was tackled.

Your one sounds horrible, did you roll your head under the rest of your body, because if you did, that's the worst sort of injury to witness, cringey!

 

i haven't broken a bone in my life, but i just fuckin pulled my groin a couple days ago. -___- the pain is pretty painful, and it is quite annoying if i may add.

Little toe on the leg of my sofa, hurt like hell and it was during the night when I was going to the toilet.

Yeah, my head rolled and the rest of me carried on tumbling and I smashed one of the discs in my back on a rock. Nothing broken though. Was lucky

 

Never, but had countless sprains.

 

Arm, toe, and tore my ACL.

 

Never broke a bone but pulled my groin before..

 

I've been fortunate enough to never break a bone. Although I did injure my ankle multiple times during soccer.
