What are you thoughts on ADHD medication?

I will just go off my basic knowledge of it but ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) is pretty much not being able to focus or being considered too hyper in normal situations. They're normally diagnosed based on their developmental stage in life.

 

Adderall is pretty much a weaker version of meth.

 

Well it really depends on how you use Adderall snorting it is no good but taking it as prescribed I see no problem with.

 

Skimmed a bit but here's what I think:

ADHD meds have a lot of drawbacks that would prevent a normal person from wanting to take them for every day use - Poor sleep, poor appetite being the most prevalent.

They are good in various dosages for people who suffer from small to severe cases of ADHD, but I think doctors tend to over-prescribe them due to these reasons:

-People legitimately get prescribed adderall or other similar meds
-They share with friends (possibly sell them)
-Those friends google how to get those meds prescribed by the doc so they can get them for close to free or so they can sell them

And at the end of the day, people are aiming for way higher dosages and volume of these drugs than is necessary, and people tend to abuse them due to poor self control or something, idk. The drugs seem to have value of some sort, but they seem to be doing a lot of needless damage atm.

 

That stuff is like being on tweak.
