Western union safe?

Id like to know if western union is safe? im wanting to sell my account and i have opened a WU account to recieve the cash, is it safe? Can people do chargebacks like paypal? Thanks.

 

Western Union is safe, no chargebacks or anything there as far as I am aware. It is a great way to transfer money, particularly larger amounts. The fines that they have are the only downside but even then its a great service.

 

Try to stay away from Western Union. Paypal has coverage, just incase something goes wrong.

There is a huge misconception with chargebacks, and you can easily avoid it. Simpy open a dispute, and then close it...then it will be impossible to open a charge back.

Western Union should be used if your sending a monthly money order or etc.

 

Yes but glummy no matter what if someone rings paypal and says that their account was hacked/stolen they can get the money back :/

 

WU is safe, has no chargebacks. However, the fees are really high. I used WU several times, but the one time I used it for my RuneScape payment I was pissed. I sent the money, about 6-10 dollars, and the lady says "Anddd your fee will be 15.75" I'm like 15 dollars? Its just horrible.

its perfectly safe , because you cant claim back once they call in to confirm the payment.

 

Western Union, by far, is the safest method of payment on the Internet. Once the money is sent, it's sent, and the other person can't claim it back.

 

Yeah im looking to use it so that i dont get my money claimed back once ive sold an account.
