Western Music

I have no idea what it is, but I'm really into western style of music, especially varieties with a modern spin on it.







How about you guys?

 

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but still worth checking out.

Well the first two songs you listed (from cowboy bebop) are just strait out blues and the third is a folksy song. ill make some suggestions in both genres as they tend to overlap often in a greattt way.


This guys got some classic blues folk and country and is a great blend of all 3. Hes usually pretty stripped down stuff and that seems to be kinda what you are into. Amazing songwriter

Sadly most of the best blues suffers from low quality recordings. Remasters are hard to come by.

leadbelly
buddy guy or any number of other old blues guys will probably satisfy your interests.

If you are more into the folksy stuff say so and i could turn you on to more of that (as im more into the folksy stuff myself)

 

I understand the overlaps, but western or western styles always have a distinctive feel. Just as country overlaps with many genres (especially now a days)
