Great Guide. WOuldn't Try it personally But +9

Thank you, Welding is quite easy though. that is once you get the hang of it lol.
is a hot job though, considering ur working with 3000-4000 degree temp. lol but thats only on the metal, u only feel about 100 degree's of the temp. but if u touch it, its a different story

ty i wanna be a welder when i graduate

No Problem, Its a really fun job if u have a love for it like i do, and its pay is very well, on average, of $17-45 a hr. and under water is $100-$320 a hour.

This is a good guide. it leaves you hangin at the masks but i like it. i can weld a little but nothin special. 8/10

The note's on the masks are just to show diffrent type's and what type of welding they are used for.

if you have any information to show me how to make this better.
feel free to let me know. thanks

Anyone got any pictures i can add to this?

Well i think this thread has finaly ended...
ill update when requested.

thanks

This is a very good guide, very indepth, but I would never advise someone who isn't formally-trained to weld or cut metal, and that goes double for the oxyacetylene torches. There was recently a tragic incident in the company I work for (Royal Mail Vehicle Services) where a third-year apprentice was cutting open a barrel of antifreeze with an oxyacetylene torch, and it exploded. He was incredibly badly burned.

EDIT: Where do you get that kind of money for welding? We do it as and when we need to.

Awsome Guide Dood If i didnt have shop this would be amazing

Yeah, but this is just to get basic knowledge.
