I love how there's a bunch more people on Sythe with more vouches than Billyy (who apparently hasn't done jack shit on Sythe) and you freely give him mod again.

Haha what the fuck would you know? You are a mod of course it doesn't mean trust to you, but for all the people that get scammed because you can't keep a clean market vouches do mean trust.

 

Just because someone has x amount of vouches doesn't make them more trusted than a leecher. Trust is theoretical and can't be replaced by an easily fakeable post.

Like I said, everyone recently has been getting staff positions because they're friends with staff. That's not how things used to run, and as far as I remember, immediate action used to be taken towards inactive staff and mods who don't do jack shit.

You may not know the ins and outs of staff but you sure as hell are defending something you have no god damn clue about.

No it's not, it's just they used to do it on the "last login" because of people bitching about not having much to do or "other people taking care of it". Do you even know what you're talking about? You probably have 2 mod logs for this month.

The thing that you have wrong is vouches do equal trust on sythe. I don't know how much you spend in the market but you mainly have to earn trust in there. You don't go out join one day and hope to start a huge gold selling business the next. It works like that for all business around the world.

Example:

Person A has been in business for 5 years now giving plumbing services

Person B just started and isn't that known

Person A has client tell (which in turn counts for vouches in the sythe world)

Person B has nothing

Person B's prices are a little lower but not much, and Person A has a steady price but has had a lot of customers and a good review. Lets say they give him **** customer rating out of *****.

Who would you use?

Most people want quality, and trust. They are probably told yea this person can be trusted and does a good job so they will go with A, but there are always people going for the cheaper side of things so they go B and take that risk. Now the only difference between the real world and here is that here the risk is a lot higher. If they scam you there is no hope for you. You get scammed and you have to deal with it?

You all need to stop crying. The report a scammer section is on 1 page atm, and users with much, much more vouches than Billyy have scammed before. Billyy does a damn fine job of moderating his section.

Yes, STAFF VOUCHES mean trust on sythe. Just because some random, 10 post leecher that joined 3 days ago says "VOUCH! HE GAVE ME A FREE PIN!" Does not mean they are trusted.

Your first shot at mod, you... wait... you didn't get mod. And then you got banned, now you're here telling someone who DID get mod and who ISN'T banned that they know nothing about what they're doing. Shocker! - it's always the banned ones that know more than us :\

Oh of course! Whenever you get put in your place, you completely ignore what the person has said and just call them an idiot. To be perfectly frank, you could be the very first admin that sythe promoted and I wouldn't talk to you any more than I am now.
