I appreciate all the work you've put into this Sythe, I'm sure we all do, it just takes a little getting-used-to time. My postcount ran away aswell, but I'm hoping this will be fixed in the future.

Do you know where I should post or message to have the banned banner removed? It's appeared following the recent forum change. I've tried posting a few times (needed to bump my threads anyway) and it's not disappearing

Banned ranks will disappear over time (or when we get a tool to do so).

our old software was less secure every day and we couldnt move forward with addons/features to the site

once xen has stabilized we'll have a modern basis to build from

 

And what about the thread titles did they get cleaned for a reason or wut?

honestly I tried to import them but my 4 hour window closed and they are what they are. not sure if you're allowed to modify them yourself under xen's permission system but you can certainly ask a mod to modify for you.

I will have a go at reimporting titles later if people think its worth while.

When I try to do it in 2 parts, it says please add message under 10K characters, but my thread in total is like 3.5K

What can I do?
Why is there a restriction on characters now?

@Sythe Threads seem to have an image limit of 20 pictures, not sure if it's an issue as it seems alright to have a limit on it, but I wasn't able to use the same message layout for the UPS threads which had pictures in a Monkey Madness 2 theme.

Me again with weird stuff/bug happening

So I edit my thread :

I hit save and this happens : it gets divided into 2 spoilers for some reason

When I go back to the code it shows me this suddenly :

And If I delete that second spoiler and save it, it just re-appears by itself.

fixed it for you. it's a "feature" in xen. basically you're mixing bbcode with what-you-see-is-what-you-get editing

You had a different font-style/size for half of the contents of your spoiler tag and forwharever reason that made it interpret your intention as having two spoiler tags. Presumably it does that to break up elements for other types of formating but it doesn't understand spoilers are special tags.

tldr keep your wysiwyg formatting the same if you are using bbcode so you don't get any weird interpretations from the forum software.
