I haven't lost any mains/decent accounts to Botting, but I've lost 3-5 1500+ total level accounts due to RWT.

 

Never been banned.

But I think the lesson/moral of this thread is that Tamer Pat is an asshole.

I was a fucking idiot and botted on oldschool at experiments for 5 hours, then I got perm banned, I wanted to kill myself after I got perm banned but it was my fault, so yeah...

 

Brutal luck...I remember my days of GE flipping..good times man.

I lost my main back in April due to botting stupidly. While my account was nothing special stat wise it held a lot of sentimental value to me. I had that account since I discovered RS around 2003. I didn't bother appealing my ban I just gave up on RS and moved on. I'm only checking in the forums & live game because a friend of mine told me that the CEO of Jagex is stepping down. My friend has a theory that the new CEO might do some type of unbanning program similar to B.A.R. I highly doubt that'll happen but I decided to just stick around for the time being and see what happens. On top of all that I missed playing RS.

 

I've had account with 2k+ total, maxed combat stats, some old event items, but not happy ending as always... Banned for botting.

 

As much as it sucks you should know when to stop , I got 2 mains banned for botting 2 years ago and never botted since then. But ouch mate ;(, I think best option for you is to start 07 afresh

I've never botted because I never knew how when I was younger and I don't trust it now. My account is 100% legit, and I plan to keep it that way. I'd rather not have spent countless hours for absolutely nothing. At least this way, I can achieve Completionist cape one day. It's a shame when I see people bot. What's the point to achieve great levels when you don't even do it yourself? I can't understand it. I guess being banned for botting doesn't really matter, though, because you didn't even do it yourself, so it's not like you're actually losing anything. If you did put effort into an account, botted, then got banned, that's your own stupidity. RIP.
