Weird food combinations

The idea for this thread came to me while I was eating a sandwich, what I'd like to know is what unusual food combinations are you guys into?

Personally I really like putting fritos/chili cheese fritos on sandwiches, and it made me wonder what other odd things other people enjoy eating.


Do you put ketchup on your mac and cheese? Do you like peanut butter and jelly pizza? I want to hear about it! Pictures are bonus points.

It's an Australian spread - quite salty, black in colour, not to be confused with nutella when you bite into a sandwich..

I'm not into anything all that odd... I do put hot sauce on a ton of my food though (eggs, chicken, mashed potatoes, ect...)

Peach Tea and Jack D.
Garlic Cheese Bread and steak (like a samich).
Mashed Potatoes and Cheddar cheese.
Spinach and Strawberries.

All i can really think of right now.

And dafug is vegemite?

When I was a kid, like 3-6, I use to dip carrots in salted water (Don't ask why, how, or what made me do this. I couldn't tell you)

Something I still do to this day though is dip pretzels / pretzel rods into applesauce. I've had a few friends do it and they like it.. so. I know it's pretty weird though haha

Can't say I have eat anything weird or many exotic foods for that matter, I stick to a pretty bland food pallet since that's what my taste buds seem to dig.

 

I do enjoy some odd combinations,

Gravy on peas, very delicious vegetable side with a hot chicken/turkey sandwich.
Chilli and chicken strips, dunk the chicken strips in the chili.
That's all for now creating a list of food I eat is making me hungry.

I have salted sultanas, they're very nice. Vegemite on fruit bun, strange but actually not too bad. JD bourbon bbq sauce on turkish bread with bacon chunks.

They're my top 3.
