Weatherfan - banned for wrong reason.

Hey there. My account "Weatherfan" was banned for account recovery, but this was a huge misunderstanding.

I was talking to a MM today (I_DONT_BOT) about his services for a runescape account I was selling. We were on skype chat. I go on to ask him about recovery tests because I was asked from a sythe member if I'd be willing to do one the day before. I go on to tell this member that I've never had to do a recovery and that I'd try to recover my own account to see if it'd work. As said in the convo the first time it didn't work, but then I tried again with the same info and then it worked. I tell him that I was worried what happens if this should happen again during the test and that I would look like a big fat lie and scammer.

Screenshot these chatlogs, don't post copy-pasted text. Also, if you can provide proof that the account you recovered was never sold, then there's no grounds for a ban and I will lift it immediately. If you don't have the proof, this process will take considerably longer. The next step would be to get you and the other user in a conversation together to get the story of how that went down between the two of you.

Also I was told to prove I never recovered it from a sale. I don't remember saying I ever did sell it and recover it from someone? HOWEVER! Over a year and half ago I think it was I sold this account on this website to a guy named Joe. I don't remember his username off the top of my head, but yeah. We stayed very good friends after I sold it to him and after he quit he gave the account back. I've since lost contact with him as he moved on with more real life stuff. But again I do say that I've never had to recover this account before. I'm just having a hard time understanding why some staff thinks that what I said ment I recovered the account. I just don't see how everyone reads it and thinks I'm doing what the MM thought I was doing.

However, please think about your choice of wording in future as you can see the endless trouble that can be caused from it.
