We badly need a rep system like keyhunt!

I think we really need a rep system liked www.keyhunt.com

It just after you make a trade you click on their rep number and put a little comment and chooses overall experience as 1 0 or -1 and that all affects their rep number sorry if I didnt fully explain because I am posting from my ipod

Also vouch system is hard to controll (our current one)

And making accounts and repping yourself would obliviosly get you ip banned

This is pointless to me because the scamming and everybody can easily fake their rep say by duplicating IPs, fake trades, etc...will just make more of a hassle

Its not that hard to scam, and adding a shitty rep system like fagex would not help any at all.

natin1, a rep system has been suggested many a times and each time denied. The problem with it is that I could give or take away rep from anyone for any reason at all. I could PM all my friends and say, "hey, I'll give you rep if you give me some". And poof, in a matter of days, it looks like I am very trustworthy. When in reality, I didn't do any trades.

Granted, people can do the same thing with the 'vouch' system, but it is much more obvious when people fake vouch than this rep system.

Not only all of that, but who you get the rep/vouch from makes a big difference. If you get a vouch/rep from a brand new member, then big whoop. But, if a moderator, admin, or someone that is well respected and trusted vouches you/ gives you a good rep, than that says much more. With the rep system, who gives and takes away rep is invisible, with the vouch system, everyone's name is stated.

Just thinking about it, you could self rep yourself quite easily. Just using a proxy/ go to a library, create a ton of accounts, and then ++ rep your main Sythe account.

There are way too many holes and flaws with it that could never make it work.

Yeah It has been denied so many times. Like Viper Said, People would abuse it so much. They Would make Accounts, and Start REP++ Themselves, or some people would rep people of no reason, or even negative- rep people they don't like.

Basically bang on, Vouch systems work much better because you can go to the vouch and pm the person to ask if they actually did the trade etc.

Much better then rep , I think to be honest.

Though i forgot to put, Though you could make loads of different accounts and vouch for yourself though it shouldn't be that easy to make a new account.

I think sythe should send a activational code to your email incase it's a fake email address would save alot of confusion, I think.
