WDF! Jagex emailed me

Wdf is this the real jagex? if so he types like a dumb kid.

 

Nope Jagex don't email. And it says hes a scammer so why are you asking? I can send emails from any email address but it doesn't do anything much.

Prob just a hacker sicne Jagex has never emailed some1 without real purpose.

Lol.... This shit happend to me too. I got two of em. One said fake, and other something about mod. But i didnt even try to open em. Same email too. And all my freinds got it to.

 

do any of you know why the second email says that they were trying to scam and that they own up there forgery? I do

First, before I answer the question I asked my self/others. How did they use [email protected] you say? well that is simple, if you have ever studied or did PHP then you would know. It is just how mail sending programs work, the program gets hold of the email address that the person is sending from and so forth... But in this case they used PHP to solidly send an email by any address, in this case [email protected].

Now to the real answer. Why did they/he/she re-send an email to everyone owning up to there actions and telling the truth? Well this is also easy to answer as well. Because Jagex themselves send a email about what they did and they could get in trouble unless they rethink there actions and fix there problems OR a smartass sent an fake email with the same content as what I just said before to scare and if that is true they probably shat a brick .

Anyway, yes you only get emails form Jagex about Membership... and no site besides WWW.RUNESCAPE.COM should ask for a user-name and password.

Because, JAGEX only sends MAIL to your account's mailbox, you should remember that.

Don't be stupid, Jagex will never email you unless its a confirmation of memebership (Pay by cash, CC). You will always get letters from them on the website.
