Way To Many Sections

Do you have any reasoning on how you came to that conclusion? I'd rather have multiple sections that are talking about similar things be combined, so I could go to one place and find it. Maybe it's just my slow internet but it's really annoying going from one section to another browsing when it's practically the same topic of conversation.

Possibly. RS sections need to be merged together though if anything. Slow internet and mousepad = you're gonna have a bad time with the sythe main page, but mainly because it's just inactive sections with almost the exact same discussion going on in them.

@Deploy If scrolling takes too long, collapse sections you don't ordinarily pay attention to. The forum layout is the smoothest it's been in years in my opinion thanks to SuF and all stand who pushed for forum restructure.

 

When was this forum restructure done? It's not really about collapsing the sections either, it's more about bringing activity to those sections that are barely hanging on. Some people may even be interested in a section, but they just don't like the sections in it. Merging some similar sections that are struggling wouldn't be much of a hassle but it would increase those sections activity by 2x + more people going there to check things out. Having sections with like 40 threads and 30 threads isn't helping the site grow at all, it makes it look inactive and weak. I would understand if there was just 1 or 2 sections like that, but it's about 5 or 6 sections. There's also some sections like Minigames and Pking that barely get 3 posts a day, if it were to be changed to PVP, it would bring a lot more activity, like for example boss fights.

Dicing clans pretty much own that section, I would suggest to just create a runescape section titled "Clans" for that stuff but that would be adding more sections than there already is.

 

This isn't getting as much as attention as I had anticipated. Maybe I'll try again some other time, thanks for the people who responded.
