waterfiends help

Hello. Before we start i want to let you know that I have read the waterfiends guide in the free guides section but I have some questions that it doesnt cover.

Im getting at least 41 summoning over the weekend so I can get turm so Im doing this to get charms.

I am a 30 def account
60 att-88stre
99range
94 mage
"dont have turm yet"


What would be the best way for me to kill them? range mage or melee? I can figure out the gear.

using dmace or barrelchest anchor would be best. ranging is always slow

Melee with a Crush weapon. Chaotic Maul would be ideal.

Since im 60 attack i would have to use d2h, i dont have anchor.

Are you sure meleeing with my att level would be better than say polyporing?

They are weak to crush attacks so crush would be ideal, also i believe their range attack dles more damage, so where mage armour, royal would be fine, while keeping protect from range on at ALL times

Drag. Mace + Drag. Def would work also.

Yes, Waterfiend are very weak against crush. Haven't tried mage yet, but I assume it will be very inaccurate.

Anchor - melee. Try to get fairy tale pt 1-3 completed to speed things up. I believe its possible to bot waterfiends. So that may be your best bet.

Melee would most definitely be the best way. Use a good crush weapon, as they are very weak to crush attacks.
