Watching Threads

Might be a dumb question... but, every time I post on a thread, it automatically watches the thread, is there a way to disable this? as I find it annoying to go back to the thread when I forget, just to unwatch the thread because of unwanted notifications.

 

Click your name on the navigation bar > preferences > uncheck first box of options.

http://www.sythe.org/watched/threads/all click "manage watched threads" -> "stop watching threads" to unwatch all of the threads.
