What kind of band material do you prefer? How much are you looking to spend?

 

I own one of these. I picked it since I wanted something simple but still somewhat smart.

Matching the watch face, so a gold face would have a gold metal band and a silver one would have a silver metal band.

I'm not entirely sure but I'm relatively frugal with my purchases so definitely on the cheaper end of the spectrum, the world of watches is so vast though that it's almost overwhelming.

 

I meant do you like stainless steel, rubber or leather band watches? If you're looking not to spend a lot you can look at Seiko or Fossil watches, i've actually seen a few good deals on watches on groupon. I saw some MK watches on sale for $150 on groupon which is 30-40% off.

Watches seem like a more personal taste type of thing that any other fashion piece.

On another note, I've been trying to find a watch I like that doesn't look terrible on my small wrists. Anybody have any suggestions?

 

More than just personal taste sometimes too, I just have small wrists so square watches look better than round on me. If it's round, it has to be super fucking thin, like absolutely flat otherwise it just looks ridiculously big on me. I like that watch tofu posted

I have seen these before and I liked them, just not sure if I'd be wearing watches enough to buy one.

 

This is one of the douchiest responses I've seen to someone who started a thread about something they clearly thoroughly enjoy. Don't bother saying "not to be rude" if you're going to word your statement as you have. I collect watches myself and am proud of my collection, and I'll be the first to say that the price of a watch doesn't mean squat. There are plenty of "high end" watch creators that produce a mediocre product that should be worth no more than a few hundred dollars. Way to shit on someone's hobby.
