Why? you stated you intention to buy claws.

 

How much time interval were you giving between each message you sent? If it was continuously right after another, you most likely got muted on the intentions of spamming whether it was legit or not.

He probably thought you had AutoTalker and just wanted to hit you with with his authority.

It depends on if you kept on typing it one after another repeatedly or if you waited a few seconds before re-typing it and pressing enter. If I was a Mod I personally wouldn't have muted you.

Yeah if you typed it quickly enough it could of looked as if it was an autotalker from a different persons point of view, Still though that's lame. I once got muted for calling a mod a "noob", Appealed it with ease, Added him the next day to talk shit and brag and he had lost his modship.

 

Misuse of their powers, you shouldn't have been muted. That isn't spamming at all, that is purchasing an item in W2. Appeal to Jagex about it.
