I had around 30-40b in items and gold on a various few mules. I went away for thanksgiving day stuff, came back and all my fucking stuff is gone. I was planning on selling this on sythe.

What the fuck and explain?

 

Claims like this are pretty extreme. Do you have any proof at all?

I sold 2-3b to Kodak a few days on here to get a feel for WU. I've only sold using player auctions in the past.

When I say they took everything, I mean everything of value.

 

Have you scanned your computer for any keyloggers or RATs? I am guessing you got hacked... if not, are you a major GP trader? Your IP might also be flagged by JaGeX for suspicion of RWT.

I have bought sold maybe 5-6B of stuff for in real life cash.

I have bought from gold4rs and playerauctions several times in the recent past.

This is just heart breaking, like seriously I know its just a game and pixels but those pixels could of been converted to cash in minutes...

What did I do wrong?

 

And yes, my computer does not have any virus's. the IPs that were last logged in were mine; my first instinct was I got hacked but then the IP's matched mine.

Only think that comes to mind is that JaGeX caught on with your RWT even if it's a mere 5-6B. I feel you as 30-40B could of been $15,000-20,000. But it just doesn't sound realistic in all honesty. Why would you stack on so much GP if you were not a GP mercher?

 

As old english said, before this is taken to a lengthy discussion, we should wait for actual photos of a reset, and maybe a post from kodak confirming the purchace.

 

I was getting it ready for sale. It was a hobby, but it was time to cash out, and they got me DAYS before I would of sold to cash.

 

Perhaps you just need to give Jagex some credit and that they're actually cracking down on botting and RWTing for real this time...

No one on here, regardless of how much information you give will be able to tell you how you got caught, or what not to do in the future. If you were liquifying all your assets to sell off, that probably threw some flags up if they were watching you at all. They may have also tracked you back from when you RWTed before from gold4rs, etc, and were just waiting on you to see if you would do anything suspicious, which you did.

Sucks, but that's life. You were going to break the rules, and Jagex actually caught you before you did.

 

Everyone on this thread are like "pics or it didnt happen", when why would I post this then? That is outrageous and I know its their game, I broke their rules but this is just a major upset to the way I play the game. I was looking at craigslist for a decent car after I sold this crap, but i'm left with only $2000 of the small amount of gold I have sold.

if this did happen, i am assuming jagex rolled you back your gold because of RWT, i mean even if it's "just 5-6B" thats quite a bit of money to moving around accounts. You probably were IP flagged as mentioned above. Sorry to hear buddy, goodluck IRL or your buildup on RS.

If this is all true, this worries me a lot because these are some of the safest ways to transfer money.
