War of Legends Bug Abuse

Yeah, I know this is for RS cheating, but there was no where else!




War of Legends is a bug riddled flash game by Jagex Publishing (coded by some VERY slopy programmers in China).

When it was first released the bugs were overwhelming and there are still some persistant ones, many were exploitable, but were patched.


There is only one left, the Info-gods one, where people of a certain alliance have leant how to talk through info chat, usually reserved for "Player x opens a y box and gets z item".


They use it to spam stuff like "Player x is noob raid him at xxx, yyy co-ordinates.





Anyway, while I expect no-one will ever reveal how to do that, but I bet there are still other exploitable bugs in the game! If you know any can you post them, you don't have to tell us how to do them! Also, if any of you are good a programming I bet you can uncover even more ways of cheating the game, considering the Info-gods actually used a hack by reverse engineering the client or something, rather than exploiting an in-game bug.


Seriously, this game's anti-cheating is weak, almost non-existant, I know for a fact there is no macro detection system for one.


Please, if you know any exploitable bugs post at least what they let you do, and if you think you can pull apart this game and find weaknesses via programming and have hours to waste, please do! I know nothing more about programming than scripting a simple batch file or reading HTML, so I really cannot do this, but I know it is possible because it has been done before, and the game is not solid, you poke and it yields!



Please do not flame with the old "You want me to waste my time on THIS?" because I don't. Just if you play WoL and have exploited a glitch or are going to hack the client, please tell me!

You might have better luck at HACKing FORUMs then on a RS cheating section/
