Why should we be in Iraq?

 

Why bush was there in the first place was because hes lying to us saying theres WOMD, which was clearly wrong. He does not accept this fact, and stays there, for oil and such. did you know his family owns an oil company? guess who has the most gain.

 

I am kind of bound here, you see I don't think we should have went to war so soon, the threat was not as present IMO as it is now. But, since we are in Iraq, we cannot leave now. So to answer his question, no, we should not have invaded so soon, but should we back out? No, I do not think so.

Now the reasons as to being in Iraq now would have to be terrorism. 9/11 did happen, and there are many terrorists willing to do harm to the U.S. in the middle east.

The way you have to look at it is that America is not at war with Iraq, we are simply at war against terrorism. It just so happens that many of the terrorists threatening America are residing in the Middle East.

The invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism. It had to do with Saddam Hussein.

Yes, we can leave. Leaving will cut our losses in terms of money and troops.

 

I believe we should be fighting in Iraq, the whole point is to push down the level of terrorism in the Middle East to prevent anymore world wide threats from their. Also, oil plays a key role in this war, even though it might not be a pressing matter we all know that oil is part of the reason why we're their. I mean, all those oil wells that were supposedly attacked by terrorist we the U.S. fixed, in other words kept to our selfs for the time being.

 

The whole point of keeping our troops in Iraq at the moment is to stabilize the region until the current government can get control. This isn't really working, in fact, the opposite is occuring.
