Teach me how to safely buy accounts.

I'm just getting back into the game after a few years.
I see that most account sellers aren't very trusted.

My question is, what stops people from recovering their account after they've sold it to me? I don't want to put time and effort into an account only to have to recovered.

What is the safest way to buy a 07 account?

Trade only with very trusted members. Accounts are always recoverable.

That's basically it.

 

Lets say I buy the account, put on a bank pin and recoveries. Will I be able to recover the account if he takes it back?
Is there anything else I can do further add to the safety of my account?

 

No matter what you do; e-mail, recoveries, JAG, new password, new bankpin, buy membership, provide membership codes, etc. the person with the creation IP will ALWAYS be able to recover it.

If you want to be 100% secure, then consider making an account yourself and paying someone to quest/train it up.

 

Why not just start a new account? After the initial grind of getting some combat levels, it really isn't that bad. And you could always buy GP instead of an account to help level it up. That way you have full control of your account and have no worries whatsoever about it being recovered.

 

id suggest making your own account and getting people in the user services forum to level it, that way it might be cheaper in the long run + your the true owner of the account.

 

only buy from trusted members, in my opnion i'm never going ever to buy from newcomers. it's just to risky, no hard feelings for the rest

 

Nothing stops an original owner from recovering an account. I recovered my main 5 years after it got hacked, didn't even know the RSN, email, recoveries etc. All I had to do was post on one of the customer support threads that the account was hacked a long time ago and I created it from the same IP as the creation IP for the account I was posting from, they deleted the email and reset it with the one I gave them.

 

In all honesty I wouldn't recommend buying an account from anyone, no matter who they are since you never know how they'll act when they're desperate for cash. Your best bet would be to make a new acc yourself, do as much of the grind that you can handle, and then pay someone (trusted) to do the rest.

 

Teaching yourself is the best way.

The original owner could always recover it, no matter how much information you have.

I like, that idea But at the same time Nothing is legit, i bought a 150$ Account on a Goldfarming website, and they recovered it within weeks, and i saw it in a ad like 2 weeks later. I'd Only buy an account with someone who has 100 vouches+

 

• Speak to the guy you are buying from and make sure he is a trustworthy person you can contact if problems happen.
• Get a photo ID of the original owner where he grants you permission to use it only in case the account is recalled/suspended
• Buy from someone in the United States and Canada only.
• Make sure he is a verified seller/buyer with the merchant you are sending money to.

Just some more in depth ideas.

Even then, you are never 100% guaranteed.

 

It would be best to just create and level up an account for yourself, for many reasons stated above.

The account is always recoverable, even with JAG or whatever kind of security you plan to add onto the account after the purchase. Best of luck.

ALWAYS and ALWAYS check the scammer section in the forum main page before buying. I didnt check and boom, instantly scammed 3.4b SSGP
