Wanting to create a bot farm

Hey guys, so I finally got my new computer built and running as well as my secondary.

I am wanting to see if I can run a bot farm from it and whether it would be safe. Last night to test I ran 15 different wc bots with my CPU usage never breaking 50% and I let them run for 8 hours and all ran flawlessly.

On the second system I ran 6 wc bots no issues but CPU was hovering around 70%

My most powerful computer specs are:
Intel i7 3.4ghz sandy bridge 2600k
8gb of ram (8 more being shipped)
Geforce gtx 460 1gb (1 more being shipped)
Asus P8P67 deluxe mobo

Secondary
Intel core 2 quad 2.4ghz q6600
6gb of ram
Geforce gtx 460 768mb

So between these two systems should it be fine for me to create a decent bot farm?

 

Yes, but don't bot WC. Do SorcGarden or something else where you're not interrupted by other botters.

 

I was just testing wc and really the only reason I'm booting the wc on one of the accounts is to see how quickly i will get caught if I run it for 8 to 15 hours a day.

 

By getting caught do you mean banned/reset? If so, you won't be.

I've been running 10 bots, 24 hours a day. 6 of them have been running 24/7 for a month. No bans/resets.

 

Hmm, I want to bot each skill to 99 one at a time.

i typically run 9 bots, 3 clients of 1000meg each
with 3 bots in each one.

and i can still play 3d games no problem
currently with all those bots, and various apps like steam
i'm at 30% cpu usage, 55% ram usage.

you can run a lot of bots.
especially if you tweak the paint updates and stuff.

I would say Sorc Garden is the actual definition of "being interrupted by other botters".

WCing sucks for money, I would do other skills. Sorc Garden if you're desperate, but don't expect that to be stable, and to last very long.

 

I have similar computer specs but my processor is only 3.0... It honestly comes down to your internet~! The computer runs fine but when it comes down to the internet it sucks because at a certain point everything will lag

 

Running 50mbps download speed. My neighbors run a t1 dedicated line and I have access to their network. Internet speed isn't an issue

 

I suggest you using smth other than sorcgarden for many reasons. Im myself thinking about making like 10 rcers. It takes some time to lvl them, but when u finally do think about profit. Only for patient and really thinking ppl though. 12 yo kid wouldnt do it, you know why i guess.

I love my new system, love it even more that I got a $1500 machine for free.

 

How do you check how much resources your bots are using?
Anyway, if you can manage ~30 accounts, membership supply, auth codes, etc. Then yes, look into it

 

Wow thats quite impressive, im kinda wondering the same thing. I want to create a bot farm but i don't know what i should bot. Else everything else is in place.

 

I work for best buy, and we've worked out a deal with jagged whee I get membership cards for free. As for autos currently I'm running raggedy and seems to be doing well.

 

Trust me, you can easily start up a bot farm with those specs.

Why not just run sorc garden bots?

Lets say your new computer can run up to 20 bots?
And your old computer 7?
That's 27 bots.

If you ran sorc garden that would be atm, lets say 150k Per hour for each bot (prices should go up a bit once RsBuddy bring in paid scripts)

Lets say for example you run those bots 15 hours a day.

That would be 150,000 x 27= 4050000gp per hour
4050000 x 15= 60750000 per day
60750000 x 7 = 425250000 weekly
425250000 x 4 = 1701000000 montly

So lets say you sell that gp for .70 per mill - $1190.7 Per month.
You would also need to subtract membership and auth code costs.

I'd say that isn't bad at all for only 15 hours a day.. If you ran it for 20 hours:

150,000 x 27= 4050000 Per hour
4050000 x 20= 81000000 per day
81000000 x 7= 567000000 per week
567000000 x 4 = 2268000000 per month
= .70 per mill- $1587.6 per month w/o costing membership + auths.

I'd say go for it, don't bother with f2p just go for a good paid sorc garden bot.

** although I have just realised that you were running wc bots before and sorc garden bots are probably more CPU intensive **

 

Grave dig, whats best to farm without sorc or frostys? mining?
