What type of pure should I make?

Depends on your style of Pk'ing.

I've just started a pure and have 50 attack, 65 strength and 75 range. The fights are usually quick but you can throw in some fun combos. However I eventually want to make it into a zerker - it's my first time making a new account. But it's a new experience and it's really enjoyable. I would stay start off as a pure and then if you don't like it get defence.

 

You Should start as an obby pure then move to any other different pure that you will like for pking

 

I think a range pure is nice, range to claws.

 

Turm pures own tbh. Low level pures are boringgg.

 

Obby tanks are pretty cool.
Range tanks too.

 

A pure I've always thought was interesting is one with these main combat stats:

80 Strength
80 Ranged
50 Attack
31 Prayer

If you keep your hp low-ish using soulwars that's a great account to play on, and it's cheap.

 

Mage tanks are ultimately best. Can be 1/40/70/75/80/85 just what ever.

What they do is they strictly pk with mage. Mage by far is the best prime fight style to pk with. You can freeze, heal, and slow hits with it..

I've had a pure that was 11 prayer, 81 dung, 94 mage, like 70 hp.

What i'd do is grab asn, c staff, and zuriel staff. I'd bring about 200-300k worth of other things (including runes) and go out and try and fight people. I'd constantly hit 300-400 on people.

The tactic was that you first ice barraged, used zuriel staff to slow hits, then blood barraged. You could mix it up accordingly by either doing more ice barrages, miasmic barrages, etc.. Sometimes I'd even bring morrigan's axes/javs/d bow for a better KO.

Since the release of the polypore staff and disruption shield, you can be 40 def with polypore staff, veng, disruption shield, and w/e else and be 1 prayer. So ultimately 40+ def is probs better for this style of pking..

Anyways, it's really up to you. I personally really just enjoy pking on mage type acc's. They seem to be the best in my opinion, especially considering you can also get the same range level as you are in mage to get a more effective KO.

 

The only thing I dont like about mage tanks is that you hardly get any fights and I hate wasting time on looking for fights
