It was completely unrealistic however.

Yeah lets call their bluff when it's the fucking governor, they have a tank, and they have two hostages. And your entire side is 50% children and sick people. Just an excuse for the writers to kill off the dead weight. All bullets magically go around the main characters even at point blank range.

Doesn't make sense for Michonne to not be targeted by the Governor either...she did..after all..take out his eye. There's no way he would have let her get away. Ending her life would be his first priority.

Also, funny how the main characters bullets go around the enemy as well as around themselves...but the little girl can get off a perfect headshot.

Daryl too, no way he sees that zombie behind him in time, and no way he can use it as a shield to absorb tons of bullets....ok maybe he could but I doubt it.

- carol was training the kids thus they know how to shoot etc.

-the gov used hershal instead of michone because Hershal was A. More of an asset to the group than she was and B. More of a member than she was.

-Zombies aren't coherent thinking creatures they are mindless and generally grunting/hissing etc. there is a reasonable thought that daryl could have heard the zombie

-the assault rifles being used [ I believe it was the guy with the ar15 that shot at daryl but don't recall at this time for 100% fact] but anyways an ar15's ammo really isn't much more impressive than a 22 so with that in mind using a body for a barrier isn't too far of a stretch plus remember this is a tv show its suppose to be entertaining

After reading this, I tend to agree with all points. Thanks for clarifying. It really did change my perception. Makes more sense now.

I have only read up to #104. I think it's up to #115 now. Just haven't had time to read them. So, if it's revealed in the ones I've read, I must have read it half asleep and missed it.

I'm mildly excited. Tbh the quality of this show has gone downward considerably. At times it shows flashes of brilliance again. But moving forward, I'm worried about what's going to happen next. But also excited that the prison won't be a factor anymore.
