Chances of getting banned for RWT?

Just curious. I wouldn't do it. But I know a friend that is. He is my only irl friend on RS so I'd hate for him to get banned because that will probably lead to both of us quitting lol.

 

you should be good always use a mule imo. I have bought and sold 1b+ in over multiple accounts now.

 

Extremely low unless you're a big market trader, I wouldn't worry

 

Agreed. If you buy, you'll be fine.

If you sell, only sell in smaller amounts here and there. Don't try to sell it all at once, that's what will get you banned.

 

Usually only big-time gold sellers/buyers get banned. Otherwise, the chances are slim.

 

I always got banned 100%, but i was selling 1b+07 and 10b+ eoc at a time!

Small scale you should be fine, but as said above id recommend to use a mule account

 

I've got a short story to tell.
About 18 months ago, I started staking on rs3.
As I got known in the staking community, I also made a few bill.
I was a PvMer before so I had no clue what RWT was.
I had all of my money stored on my main account which was close to being maxed.
I was trying my best to save up for a phat set (around 13b at the time).
After a month or so from nothing and just starting out I had made it up to a blue, white and 1b in cash.
One day, 8 am, I login, password changed bla bla recover it phats n cash gone.
First I cried for about 3 hours, then was trying to contact JMods to get my shit back (I had no security/bankpin). One mod was checking my account out and asks me 'why did you buy 3 logs in the g.e for 2b each, 2 days ago' I was like dafuq just yesterday I had my phats.. In the middle of the convo my main gets perma'd for RWT. The mod talked with me on another account of mine for like 5 mins then he said 'I'll look into this for you tomorrow, when I get back to work' then left and never came back (just like my dad).
Now the funny thing is, after that pleasant experience, I decided to fuck that phat set and just start rwting. I got my friend to lend me some money, bought an account with that and had some starting cash over. Paid him back in a week and over the course of 3 months I had sold over 200m 07 (which was a lot at the time) and around 15b rs3. Over multiple transactions. I'm guessing the only reason I didn't get banned is because I used a mule. However, that mule is still alive up until this day so I'm not even sure if it was neccesary.

What I did, whenever I sold a big chunk of gp, I'd ask the buyer to do it through a duel arena stake. Never got banned for doing that.

Why do you even rent for cashforums.

The ban is low but higher if you sell to Chinese gold farmers.

 

Although I don't do it often, i've been RWTing on and off for the past 2 months and no ban so far, just don't do huge amounts and you should be fine.

 

Why wouldn't I? No one else wanting atm anyway.

 

The chance is literally that high that you shouldn't worry xD.

 

Use a few mules and some vpns to feel safe, and just dont sell it all at once.

 

As long as you do it in small increments you'll be fine.
