Good cheap VPS?

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a VPS for under 10$. I was going to buy from http://buyvm.net/ but their system flagged my purchase as "FRAUD" before I could pay for some reason and support isn't replying.
So I thought I would give it a shot to see if you know some good sites

I don't need much but I'm trying to find as good deal as possible with at least 100GB/month of bandwidth. Don't really need bandwidth either but I ain't paying for no server with 2GB bandwidth.... Again....

 

Hey, if you are buying a VPS, to bot on I would recommend against it. Jagex usually has the companies flagged and will ban you after you start using them.

 

How are you trying to pay.. paypal? Some sites automatically flag for fraud if the paypal is unverified or if the name you registered with on site does not match the paypal account holder name.

 

try cyber ghost it very cheap , i forget how much it is and it very good used to use it for alot of different things

 

The Black Tux has a VPS hosting service, I use a VPS from him and it's very good. If you have any problems, he'll always be around on Skype to either help you with them, or fix something on the host.

Botting? Man I haven't played RS in years :laugh: No, I'm mainly gonna play around with a craftbukkit server. I just wanted to move it off my PC.

I have now bought a VPS from directspace.net as that was the cheapest I could find that looked professional. It's working pretty welll BUT. I realize now that I get way to high ping from servers in US Gonna have to look for a EU host next time.

 

Not sure if grave still runs his, they were based in france if I remember rightly, worked a treat for me being in england.

BuyVM is an extremely competent host.

Check out http://lowendbox.com for some more hosts. I've personally used all of the above, Ramnode has the fastest network/hard disk speed, but if you need EU, prometeus/iperweb is who you want.

 

If you can, try to go for a Xen or KVM VPS over an OpenVZ VPS since you will be using it for minecraft. I don't know how many users you are going to have on your server at a time, but try to find one with 1GB of ram (768mb works too, I don't reccomend going below 500mb). Also, craftbukkit (especially with a bunch of plugins) will use significantly more ram than the default vanilla minecraft server, so keep that in mind.

 

Why not order a VPS from a specific MC Host? Would also mean you get free access to control panels like TCAdmin and MyMcAdmin, something I would consider essential for maintaining a successful server. The prices are normally significantly cheaper than more general VPS companies as well. An example of one being:
