VPN Problems

Hey everyone just looking for some more info on using VPN'S.

I've started buying/selling rs gold a month or two ago. I've bought a VPN to do trades on rs, because i've got more sales and i'm worried about getting banned.

I started using the VPN yesterday. I logged into one of my risk fighting accounts and it got locked instantly, saying someone else has access to it.
I recovered it normally with the email attached etc..

Is this a common thing? Will it get my account permanently locked?
Any ideas how to avoid this?

I think your account was blocked for security reasons. When you using a VPN you have a other country IP, and it blocked because the security system detects suspicious actions on your account. For example i am from Poland and when i try to login to my battle.net account in Greece for first time i get account blocked like you. Maybe try to use always this same country when you starting use vpn.

 

Not really just that. Most VPNs are using publicly used IPs and many people have already used them. The IP may already be flagged by Jagex, that could have caused it.
