Vouching For Programming

Vouches aren't allowed for GFX b/c of low quality work getting vouches.....

However, as long as the program does what it is supposed to, why not!

 

It may not be a program, could even just be help. Would you as a buyer vouch for LQ work? I sure as hell wouldn't.

 

Again, whether it's low quality work or not, a product is still being bought or sold.

Let me ask you this: What's the difference between low quality GFX, and members who do free training and gain someone 2 levels to get a vouch, or members who sell 3m for $1.50 via PayPal for a vouch? People act as if there is such a huge line between great quality GFX and poor quality, and think that somehow dictates whether it should be vouchable (not a word).

Why is it that we can vouch for every other "low quality" product and everyone is okay with it? Two levels of free training, selling or buying 3m, doing a 10 minute quest for 250k are all "low quality" trades, yet they are all still relevant and somehow valid for vouches?

 

Example case: You pay for a bot and you don't received, you got scammed. If you received, you vouch, you trusted the user with your money and he gave you what you paid for. (Same could apply for gift cards, gold, accounts, etc)

All type of sales should be voucheable.

Why is free training vouchable? Because you trust the trainer with your account of not stealing it, fucking it up, etc.

Anything that represents trust should be vouchable.

 

Exactly, and Gfx/programming does show trust.

yes indeed, especially very soon, there will be alot of people selling scripts on the scar/simba section.

 

How about a value threshold past which you're allowed to vouch for trades? Seems like this deals with the problem of insignificant vouches.

 

No because then it would have to done for amounts of gold like 1M when people do it to get vouches...

 

You can get a vouch for getting someones woodcutting from level 1 to 2, so this would hardly work anyway. The thing is anyone who looks at vouches can see if someones vouches are from High-Valued trades or something lower, which determines trust Quality > Quantity.

That's why Programming (And Graphics vouches) should be allowed regardless.

Perhaps you should say in the OP that GFX vouches are wanted as well
