Not trying to sound like a dick or anything but legitimately asking, why would you buy this website....?

 

It was cheap and I'd like to see how it feels to own a forums.

 

Probably should have made your own instead of purchasing one with a poor history from a known shithead scammer.

 

I didn't really know much about forums in general and I figured it would be easier to get a lot of help and free resources/graphics but I did weigh out the pros and cons and came to the conclusion it would be better to purchase it even though he was considered as a scammer.

 

Are you aware of the history of the website? Relatively poor security which resulted in the DB being leaked and a number of members being hacked because Astrola and his staff did nothing to remedy the situation or even notify people on the website.... The main reason he's currently banned on here.

 

Yes I am aware of that, he told me he didn't care much for security and had no idea what was going on himself.
I personally have doubled down on security the second I acquired the forums, I contacted IPS staff to help me with community settings, server commands & settings and other stuff. I also have a full-time job which pay's me well enough to keep the forum secure at all times.

 

Good luck with everything then, hopefully you don't repeat his mistakes and in the future when you have everything set up the way you want it, you may want to consider ViTrade as a 'test' and move your settings and work over to a website with a less tarnished reputation.

About yourself(Hobbies, commitments, day to day tasks)*: I am currently still in school and doing my exams so most of my daily commitment is put towards these and progressing myself to achieve the best possible grades in these. I enjoy being with my friends and having a balanced social life and visiting the gym with friends to maintain my health. I normally dedicate most of the day to school and work but I will always put in about 3 hours or so into gaming and relaxing. I believe I have a good balance between the significant activities and the ones which I choose in order to fulfil happiness.

Previous experience: I once joined a clan when I played rs a lot and I fell in love with the community, I've been with it for about 4 years or something now? I offered to create an old school division for their clan and expand their clan onto another version of the game. I took this project on by myself and a mate (but he was inactive tbh) and developed my own professional forums for the clan in PHP and HTML and drove the clan forward myself.

Why are you suitable for the job(e.g. willing to learn new things): I believe that I am a very motivated and determined individual which thrives under pressure and with the view of succeeding. I feel as if I pick up things very easily and began to learn programming languages and other subjects in my spare time without having any teaching at all. I have excellent grammar and believe that if I was also helping with anything based on typing up threads, I would be able to complete this to a very good level without mistakes; in my opinion, this ultimately adds to the final product and insinuates to the audience how professional the forums is etc. I feel as if I would be able to help with the development of the forums if it was needed.
