The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening, Oracle of Ages/Seasons

Has anyone played these gems? I recently downloaded them and am having a blast. These games were not only amazing for handhelds, but I'd stack its gameplay up against ANY system.

They're the only games I think IGN was justified in giving perfect 10/10s.

I'm playing through Links Awakening now, the nostalgia is strong. I look forward to the challenge of Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons, because I remember it being a very difficult game. Granted I was like, 10 when they came out.

My first was OoT, and I've been considering an emulator for awhile now as there's no way to get an n64 and hook it up to any monitor I own ):

Nostalgia would be real. But those just seem a bit too old school to actually be any fun anymore

 

Played OoT over my break. Still fun. Bit too easy though.

 

The GBC LoZ games were soooo difficult. They were fun though. I had Seasons and LA -- both great.

My favorite LoZ game of all time has to be A Link to the Past on the SNES.

 

My experience with zelda, involves getting Majora's Mask for N64 when I was like 7 years old. Had fun, but the timeline shit was beyond me at that point (You had to play some song every 3 ingame days that resets all your current progress, or you would get game over and lose your current progress anyways.

 

I tried to download the rom for LttP, but it says the save files are corrupted and doesn't let me make a file.

Majora's Mask is my favorite. I feel that it outshines OoT in nearly every way, but OoT was a first so everyone flocks to it.

 

I played the first ever zelda and than zelda the o of time, not on the N64 but the handheld... it was so much fun, now they got major upgrades for zelda.... Hands down zelda will just keep improving.... all zelda game sare great though

 

I use to have seasons and ages on GBC and I loved them, even though they are basically the same game with slightly different storys from what i remember.

 

I remember that as well, I loved how challenging they were though.
