View your VPS from an iTouch

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Download an app? Which one? Any setup required on the PC?

 

Teamviewer might work, I know it does when trying to connect to your PC normally.

There's a free teamviewer app on the app store, download that and download teamviewer on your VPS and try it out.

 

There's also one called LogMeIn which does much the same thing as Teamviewer.

 

Yes, you download that app to your iPhone and then install a program on your computer (maybe teamviewer works?) and have it running on your pc and iPhone at the same time.

 

Would teamviewer still work if the computer is off though?

 

I don't understand that question, the point is you want to have your bot running on your PC AND teamviewer (or another screen assist software) and connect to it with your iPhone.

if your iphone is jailbroken download log me in pro and then go on you comp and go to logmeinpro.com and register. i do it all the time to check my bots

 

Yeah, I know LogMeIn will work, but it only works if your iTouch is jailbroken.
I guess you could try Teamviewer; I've never actually tired it.

 

Yes, teamviewer does work with the Itouch, I just tried it and is going to be very helpful while im at work However it only lasted like 2 mins or unless I just let it sit idle for to long


Logmein would probably be a better app because its more of a connect to the computer type deal instead of teamviewer where you need ID and Pass

 

I'd say search for a VNC viewer in the app store and install the same VNC server on your VPS. Would be the most efficient way in my own opinion. I've never dealt with an iPod Touch before but I have a general idea.

 

I love how everyone answers this without asking a critical question... Is it a Windows VPS or a Linux box?

The app store has an app for putty in the app store, and I use TeamViewer PRO for my Windows VPS, unfortunately, it won't work if the PC is off... but then again, what kind of VPS goes off for no reason?

 

Didn't even think of that. I use the free Teamviewer app. Works like a charm.

you just use the VNC on the vps.

 

LogMeIn Pro is the best. I use it to check up on my bots all the time. It's $30 but if your iTouch is jailbroken you can get free with installous.

 

Install a VNC server on your VPS, then get a VNC viewer app such as Jaadu VNC for your iPod/iPhone to view it.

 

I downloaded a Remote Support app and when I open it, it just loads for a second, goes to the screen then closes.

I have one that works but my iPod is currently dead and I broke my charger.
