Very wow... Vick is a dumb ass who got what he deserved. No team wants him because of his new reputation. He was a hell of a player, but off of the field, his attitude sucked.

 

I think he has a good chance of doin decent with the eagles

Vicks a good player, no matter what crime he commited. I honestly think the dog fighting penalty was a little harsh. 2 Years? So dog fighting is a worse crime than, say, child molestation?

But, Vick did do other things that he did deserve to be put in jail for, but wasn't.

I'm interested in how good he'll be when he first starts playing again with the eagles.

I think two years for dog fighting is a harsh also. I have 3 dogs and am a dog lover but still. He only signed for two years also.

 

I think he's a dumb ass for doing it. I don't think they proved he did it. All they proved is that he funded it. He didn't make the dogs fight himself, he paid for his friend to host it if I'm correct. If I'm not, please correct me.

 

Then how did he "Get what he deserved"? Dog fights is pfft. The Brainwash is minor. The dog has a fighting sense in their mind. Pitbulls are labeled as vucious animals, and you need a permit to have one for a reason.

Vic was a great player, off the field, I could careless what he did/does. And no one else should care either.

The fact that the dog fights were used to profit from illegal gambling was also and issue, not just the harm caused to the animals.

I think the fact that he killed dogs and tortured them will put his career in the shitter for quite some time. He will eventually get out of it though.
