VERY Upset With An Infraction..

In a thread of mine, people kept dis-agreeing with my suggestion...

So I just thought, "Gosh, well if no one likes it I will just have it locked!"


So I made a post saying to lock it in big bold red letters.

Then this other guy said "Quit cracking on his suggestion, he's just trying to help"



Then I said "Thanks to him"



I know that I wanted the thread locked, but I wanted to thank him before it did get locked. All I did was thank him. Maybe if you guys would pay more attention and lock requested threads I wouldn't have to go through this...

Huh? I was thanking the guy. He did a good deed pretty much so I thanked him. Go ahead, decrease my post count and hide the thread, I don't care.

 

You commanded 'lock this' which serves as an infraction/warning for Backseat Moderating on its own, and it was also spam in the respect that it was pointless and unnecessary.

 

Well it was a useless thread!

If no one wanted it there and only had negative thoughts, I figured that I could say lock this!


How's that backseat modding anyhow? It's MY thread.

Isn't backseat modding telling people what they should be doing and giving them a freaking rundown on the rules like you would?!

 

Okay, it's been reversed. In the future, just PM a mod if you need a thread locked.
