VERY Basic Guide To Becoming A Obby Mauler!

Okay, so I am training my soon to be Obby Mauler and I decided to take a break and write a guide. So here it goes..

Obby Mauler Guide!

I would just like to say that this guide might be horrible and most people hate me but please try not to flame.

1. Username - All Obby Mauler should have a good name. Not like "Mauler3746" or "I 1337" or any of that shit. You should have good name with; No Numbers, No 1337, No Random Letters/Gibberish.

2. Requirements - Well to Create a Obby Mauler you need the following Requirements;
A Lot Of Patience
Dedication

3. Beginning - Now that you've done the First 2 Steps go set recovery questions and go to the Stronghold Of Security in the Barbarian Village. To make your first 10,000 G.P. And go to the Grand Exchange and buy Full Iron, Iron Scimitar, and Power Amulet(Gives Better onuses) And the rest spend on food.


4. Training 1 - 20 - For 1 - 20 Strength I recommend killing chickens. While your killing chickens pick up the feathers to makes some cash. Feathers sell for 5Gp.

4. A. Upgrading Weapon/ Membership - Okay, so are you getting bored with plain F2p and Iron Scimitar. Well then become member and buy Red Topaz Machete or Sacred Clay Staff. Sacred Clay Staff requires 40 Magic to weild or as said by Undefined

. Magic training will be added further on in the guide. Possibly later this week.

5. Training 20 - 40 - For 20 - 40 Strength go to Edgeville and fight Men. While killing men pick up bones and herbs I recommend picking up the following herbs;
Herbs - Market Amount
Grimy Rannars - 5,962
Grimy Guam - 424
Grimy Tarromin - 323
Grimy Cadantine - 1,018
Grimy Avantoe - 1,226

6. Training 40 - 60 - I suggest going to the Monastery and kill Monks. Conveniently there is a monk that can heal you.

More will be added for higher levels.

very nice and i did the same thing with my character, except for the fact that i trained at fightpits (botted) from 40-60 and a little bit of rock crabs

 

Thanks, and nice. But I don't recommend botting because takes some of the fun out of making a Obby Mauler and just way to easy.

How bout Spam and Reported. Please don't post on this thread unless it is how I can improve guide or what I did good on.

 

Quite a nice guide, lacks a bit of detail, but i understand this was only done quickly.

Check for a few grammar errors, and any monk can heal you in the monastery if you talk to them.

Ehh, not too bad. I suggest adding about going to the Stronghold of Player Safety as well. Extra 10k, cool gloves, and two 500xp lamps.

 

How bout you don't be a noob? He's a brand new member who is uninitiated in the rules to an extent and just wants to make you feel good, and reporting him isn't going to want to make him stay. I'm willing to bet if I reported everyone of your so called "spam" posts you'd be long banned. He complimented you and you reported him? No wonder most people hate you.

As to how you can improve the guide:

• LOTS more detail
• LOTS more pictures
• LOTS more options
• MUCH longer
• Add different colors etc.
• Basically just make it visually appealing as well as being good.

This may sound harsh but from a critical standpoint I'd have to give you a 4/10. This may be helpful to those that just want a new method, but it does painfully little for the uneducated. Perhaps making it more than a 30 second read will improve its quality?

Not only that, but the other details he added.

You should maybe add some more ways to train, etc.

 

Instead of using an iron scim, use a sacred clay staff, gives bonuses somewhat similar to brine sabre, requires only 40 mage.

 

I added what Undefined had said above more will be as time passes. I am very busy on my mauler so this Guide will most likely be updated every OTHER day.

 

Nice guide but you gotta put up from 60+ str stuff, like if you p2p get a red topaz or get 55 magic n slayer for a slayer staff.

im currently making a ranger/obby mauler, it has 1 att, 46+ str, 50+ range, botted the str from 1 - 40 on chickens, collecting 9k feathers, then i used Beef Basher script to 46+.

 

Like I said I don't like botting. But thanks and congratz. I also stated in guide that more will be added as time passes.

 

My only advice would be to add more pictures and possibly more gear that you can wear to help train more efficiently .
