    Verizon Hub

Hey I recently saw a commercial for the Verizon Hub, I went to the website to check out information about it and it seems rather cool. It's a home phone, with a 7" touch screen display on the side. You can send, and receive text messages, and it can interact with most Verizon phones.

    There's some info about it.

Also, I have a question, would you buy the Hub or something similar to the Hub? I probably would, aslong as they dropped the price 50-75 dollars.

That's sweet. I just wonder who would use it for texting.. Not that there's anything wrong with it, it just seems like it would be weird.

I wouldn't buy it right away.

With everything that is technology related, and new to the market, there is always flaws with it that will make me hate it and probably throw it away.

Give it 2 years and drop the price and disconnect the contract..and i would be all over it.

I saw a commercial for that and thought it was pretty cool...

I have a Verizon cell phone and they have insanely good service.

The Hub looks cool but it does look a little pricey.

VoIP is the wave of the future and it won't be long before we all use broadband phone devices like this.

My home phone is actually already VoIP. (Time Warner Digital Phone)

Yeah my Voyager has been great so far, was even suprised that I could send and recieve text's without any bars.

Yeah, 200 dollars is a bit to pay for a home phone, no matter what features it has. Don't mind the contract though seeing as it's probably the cheapest price we can get out here for home phone service.

It would be very strange to text from it.

You have to be careful with phones with screens which take up the entire phone. A friend of mine has the iPhone and if it drops on a hard surface it's likely that it will break. A 7" screen is rather large, although I have seen commercials for it.

The one thing about Verizon though, it has top notch service- almost anywhere.

I would buy it but it would prolly break easy like Graham said. I can't wait to ask them about this.

Since price isn't really a big deal to me, this looks like a nice phone. I might get it. I've seen a commercial, but I never really bother looking. A touchscreen home phone would be tight.

I might wait until they advance their technology more. I'm sure, like all first-touch screen phones there will be flaws. I might buy the next one.
