VB6, how to send email directly from coputer?

I want a program that sends an email directly from my computer without having to use external email server to send from, anyone know how to program this in VB6? Years ago I had a dll for this but it's gone now...

Well i find the simpliest and easiest way it to get a php file which sends to your email, and then just have your programm connect to that php file.

orgfree.com there servers allow sendmail...
there is also like a 30min. delay when you send mail so yea.

Is there no way to write a program that just sends the email directly without any outside service? I don't see why that would be a problem, just for sending not receiving or anything... should be possible!

You cannot really send emails from a program in VB6.

ALL firewalls including windows it self mostly will block programs from sending emails with the smtp function.

From my experience.. its impossible lol.

Do what covey said..

Make a php script. Connect to it like www.ursite.com/[email protected]&msg=hi dude?
